High-grade Precious and Base Metal Assays Received from Samar

Drillhole SAM 6.5/44 (Selected Petrophysical Sample)

Pela Global Limited (“PELA” or the “Company”) is pleased to provide an update on its ongoing assay program at the Samar Gold Project (“Samar”), its flagship precious and base metals project within the Luke KP Concession in North Macedonia.

While much of PELA's recent activity has focused on advancing the Krstov Dol Antimony Project ("KDM"), PELA is progressing Samar in parallel as a separate mineral development opportunity within the Luke KP Concession.

The 2019 Samar diamond drilling program comprised fifteen (15) drillholes totalling 4,299 m. PELA is progressively assaying retained drill core from the program while compiling and validating associated geological and petrophysical information.

To date, approximately 1,233 m of core from four drillholes has been submitted for analysis, with assay results received from ALS Global's laboratory in Loughrea, Ireland. The results have undergone QA/QC review.

Preparation, sampling and dispatch of the remaining Samar drill core are continuing alongside assay work from KDM.

Initial Assay Results

  • SAM-6.5-43: 0.50m sample from 132.50–133.00m returning 13.60 g/t Au.

  • SAM-6.5-43: 0.50m sample from 131.50–132.00m returning 10.35 g/t Au.

  • SAM-6.5-43: 0.40m sample from 266.80–267.20m returning 4.20 g/t Au, 106 g/t Ag, 3.21% Pb, 2.94% Zn and 0.19% Cu.

  • SAM-6.5-44: 0.20m sample from 223.80–224.00m returning 2.06 g/t Au, 279 g/t Ag, 0.74% Cu, 12.30% Pb and 12.20% Zn.

Note: Results shown above are selected individual sample assays only. They do not represent calculated mineralised drill intercepts or true widths and are not intended to represent the complete assay results received to date.

Analysis and interpretation of the assay results are ongoing. PELA intends to provide a further Samar exploration update incorporating this work capturing further assay results as they emerge.

PELA Managing Director, Nik Jovanovski, commented:

“These initial Samar assay results have returned a number of high-grade gold, silver and base metal values and are a very encouraging start to the systematic evaluation of the retained 2019 drill core, particularly when viewed in the context of the historical exploration activities that prompted the drilling campaign.

With Samar sitting alongside KDM within the same Luke KP Concession, we are fortunate to have two distinct mineral projects progressing in parallel across the precious and critical minerals space. As we complete the remaining assay work and interpretation, we expect to build a much clearer picture of the extent and continuity of mineralisation at Samar.”
